Wednesday Rebound for Cotton

Cotton futures were 10 to 80 points higher at the end of Wednesday’s trading session, after starting off the week with two down days. Front month futures settled 70 to 76 points lower last night. The Seam Reported 3,856 bales sold on 12/03, for an avg. gross price of 53.92 cents per. The certified stocks of number 2 cotton for delivery were lowered from 85,257 bales to 66,048 after a decert of 19,569 bales. The Cotlook A Index was 40 more points lower to 74.15 cents per pound on Dec 3rd. The AWP will be updated tomorrow, but is currently 56.20 cents /lb.

DEC 19 Cotton closed at 63.2, up 10 points,

MAR 19 Cotton closed at 64.85, up 80 points

MAY 20 Cotton closed at 65.75, up 60 points

JUL 20 Cotton closed at 66.63, up 47 points
